Israeli Pavilion to Host 27 Companies at HKJMA Show

(IDEX Online News) – The Israel Diamond Pavilion, organized by the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI), is set to host 27 companies at the upcoming Hong Kong International Jewelry Manufacturers’ Show (HKJMA). Ten on the companies will be first-time participants at the show.  

The pavilion will also feature a dedicated terminal for the IDI’s “Find Your Diamond” system, which enables buyers to search a computerized database of all the goods carried by the Israeli exhibitors. The system, which is available in both English and Chinese, is also accessible via smartphone.

Asia is Israel’s second largest market for polished diamonds, accounting for about 30 percent of its total exports.

Asia is a strategic market for the Israeli diamond industry,” said IDI chairman Moti Ganz. “While these markets have undergone a slowdown they are still growing and we are optimistic about this show.”

“Based on our experience at the September show in Hong Kong, we are looking forward to a good show for our diamond exporters,” said IDI MD Eli Avidar. “The timing will enable buyers to fill their last minute holiday season diamond needs.”

HKJMA takes place from November 26-29 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
