Registration Opens for CIBJO 2016 Congress

(IDEX Online News) – The World Jewelry Confederation (CIBJO) has announced that registration for its 2016 Congress in Yerevan, Armenia has opened. It also said that a dedicated congress website had also been launched.
CIBJO’s congress will be hosted by the Armenian Jewelers Association (AJA) and members of national jewelry and gemstone associations from more than 40 countries and representatives will gather in Yerevan. The congress also serves as a forum for CIBJO’s professional commissions, and is the venue at which its Diamond, Colored Stones, Pearl, Coral, Precious Metals and Gemological Blue Blooks are discussed and updated.
Congress is also the location for reports on the progress in the World Jewelry Confederation Education Foundation (WJCEF), relating to responsible and sustainable activities in the industry – including cooperation with the United Nations and its development program.
The CIBJO Congress will take place in Yerevan from October 26-28. A pre-congress meeting will take place on October 24.
