September Hong Kong Fair to Draw Large Israel Pavilion
August 17, 16(IDEX Online News) – The Israel Diamond Pavilion, organized by the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI) will likely be one of the largest national exhibitors at the September Hong Kong Jewelry & Gem Fair.
The IDI estimates that the pavilion will feature 84 companies and extend over more than 1,150 square feet, with an additional 15 Israeli companies exhibiting at different locations throughout the show.
As with previous Hong Kong shows, the IDI lounge will feature Find Your Diamond terminals, including a Chinese version in addition the English one. Buyers will be able to access the system on smartphones, as well as at dedicated terminals.
The JNA Awards, honoring excellence and achievement in the Asian jewelry industry, coincide with the September show and will again be supported by the IDI.
“I am hopeful about the outcome of the show despite the challenging conditions the entire industry is facing,” said IDI chairman Shmuel Schnitzer, “We believe in Asian markets and we are there for the long haul.”
“Hong Kong is a very important part of our marketing strategy and we participate in four sows during the year,” said IDI managing director Eli Avidar. “The September show is always the most important since it sets the tone for the upcoming holiday season. This show attracts buyers from all over Asia – Hong Kong, China, India, Singapore and even the U.S. and Australia.”
