ALROSA President Holds Talks With Antwerp Diamond Sector

(IDEX Online) – Alrosa President Sergey Ivanov has led a delegation from the mining giant to Antwerp where talks were held with the Antwerp World Diamond Center (AWDC) and the leadership of the Beurs Voor Diamanthandel exchange.

Ivanov discussed further development of bilateral cooperation between Alrosa and the AWDC.

In particular, the sides discussed the possibility of Alrosa's participation in the events marking the 570th anniversary of the Antwerp diamond trade taking place this year and next.

The delegation's schedule also includes a visit to the AWDC's Diamond Office which registers all the rough and polished diamond export-import operations in Belgium.
